- Identification:- At first the selected image file is first identified and converted the identified images into the image.
- Recognition:- After the page is identified the data is recognized.
- Extraction:- After successful recognition, the data is extracted for validation.
- Validation:- The validation is performed on the extracted data.
What is Smart Scan App??
In this application, we used two action first we upload an image and then we click the upload button to recognize the OCR result.
Springboot application uses two layers in the front end we use thymleaf and in the backend, we use springboot rest controller wired with datacap transaction API.
Datacap transaction API uses Datacap wTM service which internally uses Datacap Transaction Application.
Using Datacap Transaction API the application list provided to the user, from which user will select the exact application he/she wants the extracted result for. After selecting user the authentication is done using Datacap Transaction API.

How it works inside out??
Transaction Capture OCR used internally to capture the data from an image uploaded. Transaction Capture did the following things,
Call Web Service:- At this step, the web service integration is done. For eg. Suppose if the extracted data contains account field then the web service is called to verify the account details.
Here the extracted data will come in a table where the user can validate and do the changes if required.
All the value fields in the table can be modified by the user.
After all the verification and modification the data is stored into the FileNet system.
We can also automate all this process using RPA(Robotics Process Automation) in which all the actions like uploading an image, getting the extracted data, and saving the extracted data into the FileNet System/database can be done automatically by RPA system. Because of automation, the processing will become much faster and easier.
